Yesterday’s Speedways – Blast from the Past

This Thanksgiving Monday, we will be at Yesterday’s Speedways’ 1st Annual Blast from the Past event.

Yesterday’s Speedways is a fantastic organization devoted to archiving pictures, articles, stories, memories or any other type of memorabilia relating to an Ontario, Canada race track.

Blast from the Past will feature vintage racing coupes/coaches, dragsters, supermodifieds, 1/2 milers, midgets, hill climb cars, Go-Karts, motorcycles, and snowmobiles.

There will also be a swap meet for race cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and Go-Karts, and parts.


We will be bringing a selection of automobile and motorcycle racing books including:

The Golden Years of Stock Car Racing in Toronto, 1951-1966

Lost Road Courses: Riverside, Ontario, Bridgehampton & More

Remember When: The Early Years of Stock Car Racing in Southern Ontario



Blast from the Past will take place at the Ancaster Fairgrounds in the Marritt Hall & Arena from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Admission – Adults = $10.00
                    Children under-12 = Free
