Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer: 365 & 512 series
Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer: 365 & 512 series
This book is a good history on the pre-1981 Carb model Boxers. Starting in 1981 they all became fuel injected. Neither the 365 nor the 512 were ever sold through USA factory authoirized Ferrari Dealers. The factory thought all the requirements needed to meet new U.S. Smog and 5 mph bumper laws too much trouble. They were all so called Gray market cars imported by owners then made U.S. legal by Amerispec organization. Anyone who owns a pre 1981 Boxer should own this book. Anyone who owns a Boxer needs to find a mechanic that knows these cars well and the modifications done to them and by whom to service them.

Ferrari Cavallino Magazine (No. 184, Aug/Sept 2011)
Ferrari Cavallino Magazine (No. 184, Aug/Sept 2011)
Cavallino magazine is the oldest, largest, most complete, and most respected Ferrari publication in the world, bringing you the best on Ferrari 6 times a year. This issue features: The Women of Ferrari... • It may be true that behind every successful man there is a strong woman, but in racing, that woman may well be way out in front. • Despite the genteel social pressures against women in racing, and despite the more obvious objections from male drivers against women in racing, many of these strong-willed women endured and prevailed. If nothing else, this is an object lesson that talent blooms everywhere. • Several of these women drivers drove Ferraris, some with great success, all with good results, and added in their own way to the legend that is Ferrari. • Their exploits investigated with respect and warmth by Historian Arnaud Blanfuney. Historical photography from a variety of sources. The 500 Superfast, s/n 6659 SF... • The name borders on kitsch, but the object so named is anything but. • Superfast was what this model was all about, plus being super-powerful, super-beautiful, super-luxurious, super-expensive, super-everything. • As a further remembrance on the passing of Sergio Pininfarina, we present this final testimonial to the elegant extravagance that was the hand-built Pininfarina Ferrari. An appreciation and salon photography by Keith Bluemel.

Working for a leading sponsor Ian had the chance to capture the cars both in motion on the track, as well as in the pits and paddock, where he could ‘get up close’ to both the cars and drivers.

Ferrari: Great Marques
Ferrari: Great Marques
Most motoring enthusiasts today dream of owning a Ferrari. The name is synonymous with quality and reliability coupled with flair for styling and truly breathtaking performance. Over the years, few manufacturers have been held in such high regard both in the motoring industry and on the race track. Godfrey Eaton, Secretary of the British Ferrari Owners' Club, describes the history of Ferrari from the founding of the factory in 1947 to their impressive turbocharged Formula 1 racing car. Many of Ferrari's most exotic and desirable cars are described in this authoritative book: classics such as the 500 Mondial, 196 0,166 Barchetta, 250 Testa Rossa, 250 GTO, 365 GTB4, 512 M and the prestigious 400 GT. The unique charisma of Ferrari is also reflected in the superb colour photographs, the majority specially commissioned for this book; these show very clearly why Ferrari is one of the most famous names in motoring history. In addition to describing the most significant road-going and racing cars, there is also a chapter on the well-known drivers who have raced under the Prancing Horse banner - celebrated names like Ascari, Collins, Farina, Hawthorn, Lauda and Moss. All in all, this magnificent book will not only be treasured by Ferrari enthusiasts but also by anyone who appreciates superlative car design.
